At a recent Harrisville Designs weaving workshop, I used 30 colors of Shetland in both warp and weft to create a warm, lightweight color gamp blanket. By weaving double weave, I was able to double the width of the 36” loom and create a blanket with a finished width of 54” after wet blocking and fulling.
