western maine: webb lake

I spent a view days in a tiny house Airbnb near Weld, Maine, close to the New Hampshire border, to gravel road bike, hike at Mount Blue State Park, and kayak at Webb Lake. It was peaceful and uncrowded, even in the height of the summer, and there were baby animals everywhere: deer, turkeys, and a pair of loon parents with their two babies on the lake. The last evening, I enjoyed dinner on the screened porch at Kawanhee Inn and watched the sun set over the lake.
