Sonoma Overalls Sewing Pattern

$16.00

This is a digital ZIP file of all the PDFs that make up the Sonoma Overalls sewing pattern. Downloads are timed so be sure to download your pattern via email immediately after purchase. After downloading, you will need to extract or unzip the file to receive the instructions booklet and copy shop files.

Every year when summer is on the horizon, fabric stores begin featuring a gorgeous array of lightweight cottons, linens, and chambrays. I always stare longingly at these fabrics, offered in a dizzying array of colors and patterns, and dream of sewing the perfect three-season wardrobe staple. The Sonoma Overalls check every box: relaxed fit but with enough tailoring so that they don’t look shapeless or baggy, easily adjustable straps, cuffed hems that you can wear long or rolled up, and even a variety of options for your favorite style of pockets. I so loved experimenting with different fits, styles, and fabrics that I sewed a dozen samples, and you won’t be able to stop at just one pair, either!

Materials:

Prewashed fabric (see chart in pattern for yardage requirements)

Fusible interfacing (see chart in pattern for yardage requirements)

Sharp fabric shears

Straight pins

Tailor’s chalk or marking pen/pencil

Matching thread

Sizing

Women’s XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL

Bust 34 (35, 36, 40.5, 42, 44, 46)”

Hip 35 (36, 37, 41.5, 43, 45, 47)”

Actual body measurements.

Notes:

The Sonoma Overalls are designed with a loose, easy fit in mind. If a more slim fit is desired, consider sizing down one size (compare your measurements plus 2-3” to the finished measurements on the Size Chart to confirm that you will have enough wearing ease). This pattern provides three different options for style and placement of pockets: Front inset pockets, front patch pockets, or no front pockets.
