Put even the most riotously colorful Liberty print to good use! Sew a matching top and shorts, or use a solid in Tana Lawn over dupioni silk to compliment your Liberty floral. The lap-over construction of the top and shorts is comfortable and flattering, and the easy elastic waistband makes this lounge set perfectly suited to a lazy summer morning with coffee, the newspaper and some knitting or hand-sewing.
Materials:
Liberty London Tana Lawn and a combination of Tana Lawn and silk dupioni were used for the two samples shown.
Any lightweight cotton, lawn, silk, or satin fabric will work. Keep in mind that slippy fabrics like satin will be more difficult to sew.
Allow extra yardage for directional fabrics or print matching. See chart for fabric yardage.
