Return to Maine travels: We begin in Cape Porpoise

The first stop on By Hand Serial’s Return to Maine trip was Cape Porpoise, a small coastal community just north of Kennebunkport.

Our Airbnb was the quintessential Maine cape cottage - perfect and utterly adorable! The flower garden in the front yard was stunning, and it attracted clouds of Monarch butterflies every day.

Epic sunrises greeted us every morning right outside our front door. We grabbed coffee and pastries each morning at Cape Porpoise Kitchen, as well as gourmet meals-to-go, ate dinner at Musette, and shopped for candles, linens, and beautiful home goods at Farm + Table. A quiet spot in a beautiful oceanside community was the perfect beginning for us.
