autumn in the catskills

A long October weekend in the Catskills to enjoy the fall color, cooler temperatures, and Rhinebeck (formally known as the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival). I loved staying at the remote and peaceful Piaule Catskill resort, and had several great dinners at Cucina in nearby Woodstock. Breakfasts and coffee shops were a lot more hit and miss, including disappointments at Willa’s (in Catskill) and Bread Alone (in Woodstock). Next time, my search for an exceptional breakfast spot and coffee shop continues . . .
