On the water: Pitcher pond

I got my kayak in the water for the first time this season on Memorial Day weekend: sunny, beautiful, just a light breeze. I put in at the north end of Pitcher Pond, kayaked the entire length, through the marshes, and into Knight Pond, which I circumvented before heading back. A longer time than I like to be in the kayak at a stretch, but too beautiful to pass up. I discovered an access point for Knight Pond, so Iā€™m going to put in there next time, and spend the time on the water exploring the Knight Pond shoreline and mini-islands.
