3/2 American Maid naturally colored cotton – 1 cone/ea of Light Brown ($52) and Natural White ($35) (1260 yds/ea)
– got exactly 350 ends of 3.5-yard warp off of one cone

Warp: 3.5 yards (light brown)
Weft: Natural (used some of the white for the add’l 34 ends (sleyed as an outer border) – still had enough white for the entire weft)
EPI:  8 (double weave, so double-sleyed each reed dent)
384 ends (48” on loom)

Draft: Twill double weave

Threading:  1-5-2-6-3-7-4-8-3-7-2-6
1-2-3-4 – one layer
5-6-7-8- second layer

Tie-up:
#1 - 1-4
#2 - 5-8
#3 – 7-8
#4 – 1-2
#5 – 2-3
