meander made woven totes

Woven roving sections:

Warp - 8/2 cotton
95” warp (enough for 3 pieces)
88 ends
4 EPI (thread every other space on 8-reed)
Weft - Three 4-oz roving from Into the Whirled and Hello Yarn (each 4 oz is enough for one bag front)

Woven linen sections:

Warp and weft - 3-ply linen in lily
90” warp
18 EPI (12-reed threaded 1-2)
396 ends
Twill structure
Final: 55” long (enough for two bag backs)

Cutting:

Leather - 20” long x 8” wide

Linen/canvas exterior back – 19 1/2” wide x 18” tall

Lining – 19 ½” wide x 44” tall

Lining strips for top of bag – 2 pieces, each 19 ½” long x 3” wide

Two pockets – 7.5” x 9” (place centered, 5” down from top)

Two leather straps 1 ½” wide x 33” long (place 3 ½” from edges, 5 3/4” down from top)

 Box corners at 3 ½”

I didn’t keep notes for this bag - front is a woven panel and wool felt, sides are cotton canvas, back is leather and wool felt, and bottom is leather. I also used cotton canvas for the lining, and the handles are secured with metal rivets.
