french wool table runners

I purchased just one skein of yarn when traveling in Provence, and I wanted to use it for something special. It’s hard to knit much with just one skein, but weaving is another story . . .

Warp:  Harrisville Shetland in Natural

Weft:  French wool Laine francaise (100% merino), naturally dyed with onion (100g)

Length:  38” + 2” take-up + 30” loom waste = 70” (3.5 yds)

Width on the loom:  13” + 1” take-up = 14”

EPI: 10 (on an 8-reed:  1-1-1-2)

Ends:  140
